This annual event is the Norwegian’s answer to “cabin fever”. The combination of colorful Norwegian costumes, rousing music and exuberant ethnic folk dancing produces the necessary elements to relieve the “winter blues”.
This lively group of dancers presents a program that includes humorous, gymnastic and audience participation dances. Audience members are encouraged to wear their national costumes to make this truly an international event. Bring the children and grandparents to make your attendance a family event. Children under the age of 10, dressed in their national or Norwegian costume will receive free admission.
There is a bake sale featuring authentic Norwegian baked goods and pastries. Also a raffle with 30 prizes, including a week’s stay at a Florida Condo, $550 cash, a 32” LCD HDTV and a “Dale of Norway” sweater.
Admission for adults is $5.00 in advance or $6.00 at the door. Children under 14, $1.00
